Payment & Warranty Terms

Payment Terms

• Payment is due on completion of work, unless otherwise agreed in writing in advance.

• Any variation to standard payment terms will be confirmed in writing before work begins.

• For specialist items, high-value components, or parts that are special order or manufactured to order, a deposit or full payment may be required before parts are ordered. This will be clearly explained and agreed in writing.

• Accepted payment methods include bank transfer or cash.

• Receipts or invoices are available on request.

No work is carried out without the customer’s agreement to the price and payment terms.

Deposits

• Deposits taken for special-order or made-to-order items are used to cover supplier costs.

• Once an order has been placed, these deposits are non-refundable, except where a refund is required by law.

Warranty on Workmanship

All work carried out is covered by a reasonable workmanship warranty, meaning work will be completed with proper care, skill and in line with industry standards.

If a fault arises directly due to workmanship, I will inspect and rectify it within a reasonable timeframe.

This warranty applies to the work carried out, not unrelated faults or later damage.

Warranty on Parts & Products

Where new parts are supplied (such as locks, cylinders, keys, or components):

• Manufacturer warranties apply where provided

• Warranty covers manufacturing defects, not wear and tear, misuse, impact damage, or interference by third parties

• Electronic keys, remotes and batteries are subject to normal usage and environmental factors

Any manufacturer warranty details will be explained where relevant.
